The BRAUN BÜFFEL Made-in-Germany collections are produced at our two locations in Kirn and Offenbach. Upon entering one of our leather goods manufacturers, you'll understand why the buffalo has become the hallmark for high-quality leather accessories worldwide. The earthy scent of finely tanned leather fills the air. The manufactory was opened in 1887 in the small, tranquil village of Kirn by Johann Braun as an upholstery and saddlery business. Even more than 136 years later, leather goods are still lovingly handcrafted by our skilled leather artisans. BRAUN BÜFFEL stands for the preservation of the ancient craft of fine leather goods manufacturing. There are very few companies left in Germany that produce and practice this craft. We continue to train apprentices today, ensuring that this beautiful craft does not die out. Our master leather artisans are happy to pass on their decades of experience to young people. This is what keeps the craft alive, making it vibrant and carrying it into the next generation.

In addition to producing the current Made-in-Germany series, the leather manufactory also builds new prototypes, applies personalizations, and conducts detailed material and product inspections. A special highlight of BRAUN BÜFFEL is the lifetime repair service. Should a defect ever occur, our leather artisans will meticulously repair the product.
